It just goes to show that forming an opinion on a player in a Pep side during their first season is meaningless.
It takes players a while to learn the system and then one day it just clicks, when it does they look a level above.
Rodri has been class all season and is key to everything we do.

In Rodri’s post match interview he said there was a discussion after the game about the penalty, and he said he’s having then from now on whilst laughing and carried on laughing when he said he ignored Ederson’s advice.

Well Rodri, you haven’t done any worse than anyone else fella!

I think you have all noticed that moments during the game when he starts to dribble and comes very close to the box, but then passes the ball instead of continuing the path..

I wish he started to finish that kinds of moments, like trying to dribble a little bit more and then shoot or something like that.

I mean he can be lethal in terms of attacking as well. Not just defending or possession. Maybe not Toure type lethal, but he shoots well, dribbles well, has excellent first touch, always wins physical battles. Considering his age - I feel there is room for improvement and making him even better than he is now..

Number 6 - who defends, possesses ball like a boss and scores the goals ? that's the dream..

The more he plays the better he gets. Even passing and intelligence on the ball is quality. Plus adding strength to the midfield. Great game.
