Superb goal today. Not sure if down to a system change but he looks very comfortable behind the 2 midfielders, maybe confidence? He had a good run out last year before his form went down but last 2 games looked quite at ease. Not that the opposition posed much threat, but imo that's when you know you are doing well. When your defensive midfielder keeps it ticking silently, much like a certain Sergio Busquets used to, it's a good sign.

type of player that when we win, he plays magnificently, and when we rarely lose he plays awful. And that just shows you how important he is to the team!

I like him too,and the criticism is definitely OTT and unjustified.

But.....there is definitely a part of his game that doesn't quite hit the heights,and that is what attracts his detractors.
