Nothing remotely wrong with anything he did. It's clearly a popular Spanish song with a cheeky little dig at the country they've just beaten. Good on him, the man is enjoying his triumph.

Too many people invest too much of their time getting upset with people who don't think like they think and act overly surprised that the world doesn't revolve round their needs.

Rodri is a footballer, an employee of Manchester City and investing emotionally into modern footballers who have no affinity to Manchester will just end in tears.

Well nationalism does not necessarily equal irredentism. And there are so many obvious issues that come to mind before it conceivably even come so far that atleast a conflict over Gibraltar seems pretty much unrealistic.
The UK is a NATO partner of Spain, noone in Nato wants this, noone in Europe wants war, diplomatically Spain would be isolated. And for what gain? Not to speak of the fact that Spain has some regions that could push for independence in such a unstable situation, not to speak that Spain cant even match the navy the UK has.

That there would be populist rhetoric to it, for the purpose of electoral gain ... perhaps, but i think were very far from the Spanish majority subscribing to such a drastic course of action, the whole proposition is ... either overly fancifull or just plain nuts imho.

Carvajal has openly supported Vox, a party who are homophobic, anti woman's rights and generally make Jacob Rees Mogg seem modern.

Rodri's behavior should be your last worry. He's great on and off the pitch. We are very lucky to have a huge personality like him.

However Rodri surprisingly suddenly starts shouting Gibraltar is Spanish. Gibraltar is Spanish.
Not very clever.

Not arsed what he sings but it seems very un like rodri thing to do.

He has opened himself up to abuse next season though which is a bit sad as most fans find it hard to slag him off but he’s now give them a reason & you know the media will love all of this.

He doesn’t like attention or press but he’s going to get it now
