Rodri is going to be missed but to be frank he needs to get time off. I think it got to him with doubling up even three one time during the game. Cooper set out his team to shut him down more than anyone.

This just shows how much of threat he is and is getting the respect he deserves now. More to come in the future so we need a plan B if he gets marked out of game.

Something Rodri has to get used to has the season goes on with his ever evolving game. That pass to set up the goal yesterday was utterly sublime.

I have seen plenty of post saying Rodri deliberately get red card because he is being mentally and physically exhausted which is very idiotic notion to suggest that.

Rodri just fucked up plain and simple in that match, there's nothing to suggest he doing it because he doesn't want to be played constantly. If Pep knew about this, he will drop Rodri to bench immediately and never give him a chance to play because Pep doesn't need a player who deliberately sabotage their team success just to preserve himself.

Either way, the whole game plan for Arsenal changes now because of that stupid decision by Rodri. We have a conundrum as to who plays the pivot and because of that we have to think who will play in the attacking roles. A much more defensive minded attack will now possibly have to be considered to overcompensate.

I think Pep will be aiming for a draw and just getting out of there by not giving any psychological advantage to Arsenal.

Brigton at home isn't going to be easy without Rodri either, the game plan changes there too.

One thing though, if Arsenal cannot beat us without Rodri and KDB, that would be a huge psychological blow for them.

We have to find a way of playing without Rodri, whatever the rights an wrongs from yesterday. He could just as easily have picked up an injury. We played 45 minutes one man short and held a clean sheet, and we have Stones, Silva, De Bruyne out and others not quite fully fit. People seem to be assuming we will lose against Arsenal without Rodri. Ok we might rest players against the bar codes midweek, but Rodri will be available for the Champions League group game next week.
