I am really surprised at how the Arsenal team and management have not been called out for their role in Rodri’s injury. In the game when he got injured they were clearly targeting him and it was no surprise when he had to leave the field injured. It was not a horror tackle but they certainly played a big part in him bing crocked.
If he was still available we would probably be top of the table, unbeaten and long odds on for a fifth title win. Kuntz.
 
Whenever you think bluemoon has any idea of what the team needs to get better right now, just remember Rodri has never won player of the season here. Hell, Ake was ahead of him in the voting 2 years ago!! Talk about clueless fans.

Even when he was far and above our best player for both 22/23, 23/24 and we can see what our midfield is without him now.

He should win it this season, there's not much competition.

Not only bluemoon, those clowns in FA or wherever fuck is that, gave MVP to Phil and not to Rodri :D

Well.. Phil had fantastic season and that was truly the best year of his career, but Rodri deserved that more.

I am not complaining since City player got it anyway, but Rodri was real MVP and main player who led us to title.
 
Not a chance he features in that. Maybe he's part of the squad because he deserves to be there if that's what he wants but he plays no part in that. He gets the extra month recovery before next season begins and will be eased in.
 
Hmmm. I hate players going on TV and doing these kind of interviews but I guess he has an obligation after winning the Ballon d’Or. Proper, proper beggy presenters though.

The sooner he’s kept here, the better. He seems happy here and says more promising things about the club etc. than not.

Guess he knows when he is expected to return to full training with the team. If that is in the first weeks of May, he can play in the USA. He might be rusty, Pep will decide whether we need him. No risks will be taken.

Yeah I don't want him to take any part. Would rather he stay in Europe and continue his rehab/recovery.

And in the meantime? I've just watched the City 4-0 Rags from the seventies and there is the perfect temporary replacement. One fuckin' ball down the left that fucked over the Raggedy Rag defence from Alan Oakes. He's only 82 as well! Get him trained up this international break and he's the perfect man to do the Rodri stuff. In fact, it's only just come to me that Rodri must have have modelled himself not on Busquets but on the Winsford Wizard.

Doesn’t sound like the contract extension is happening any time soon. Suspect he is waiting to see who replaces pep (if pep leaves in next 18 months or so)

He wants paying, this is the ultimate PR response. Ballon D’or put him a new category earnings wise.
