It will be good fun to watch the game against Norwich where he tries to break the record. Every City player will look to score from a Kev pass if they are anywhere near goal. Could lead to us scoring a few less where they could pass to someone in a better position, but they'll all be keen for him to break the record.

It will be interesting. I may have been making it up, of course, but I thought I saw a few times yesterday where Kev could have had a shot from just outside their box and he instead chose to look around for a teammate to pass to nearer to goal.

KDB is looking very dangerous on free kicks these days but I wonder will he go for goal direct or put in a cross against Norwich.

If De Bruyne wins a free kick or a penalty, then scores from it, does he get an assist as well as the goal?

No, surely not.

That’d be like considering controlling the ball before scoring as “a pass to yourself”.

Pep Guardiola on KDB: "He speaks for himself, what he gives to our team and to the #PL. It is not necessary to say what a fantastic player he is. Congratulations to the Liverpool captain for the award, he is a really good player."

"He enjoys to make assists. I would love for Kevin to score goals but he enjoys making assists too. I think in the last period, he is enjoying taking free-kicks and penalties and taking this responsibility

"The numbers are incredible, not just this season but also the year when we won 100 points. He was incredible and I will never forget how he played

Pep Guardiola on KDB taking Silva's leadership role: "We will see. The players make these roles on and off the pitch, it depends on what they want, not the manager. I think these things are won with the respect on and off the pitch, it comes naturally.

Still not as good as Jordan Henderson...

A bit like David Silva, grossly underrated because he is a quiet, serious professional. How on earth people can say Henderson has had a better season than him is baffling. Henderson is a honest workhorse nothing more.

Henderson is a poor man’s Zinchenko.

Kev is a poor man’s Zeus.
