On the basis of this tour, Kev is a man on a mission. He looks fierce. He hated missing last season, it was obvious, and is intent on making up for it. His passing today was ridiculous. God help the rest of the PL.

Looks as if he has picked up straight from the cup final, frightening. Just hope Guardiola can get him to turn it down to 95% at some key moments and to release the ball as soon as possible, especially when running with it. There are times when he is running with it that you can sense the despairing challenge is coming, and those are the times when he has to be cute and play the ball away rather than take the hit and potential injury; happened at least twice today. Because he is strong and determined, he enjoys the tussle and likes to show who is boss, but there are also times to let the ball do the running.
