Have a feeling he is going to achieve "beast mode" this season, he literally has everything required of a modern footballer.

Not sure why Pep ran KDB into the ground today , ended up with cramp , thought Foden should have been on earlier , but the coaches have got all the stats and fitness levels , so maybe they were pushing Kev through the pain barrier . Our best outfield player , but Bravo man of the match

Kevin De Bruyne on the new season: "It’s different every season. One year we did better against smaller teams, the other year we lost more against them. It depends. You need to be just one point ahead of the others and whatever you need to do, you need to do."

“I think Liverpool will be up there, but they all will be there. I think all will be there. It can be different, with so many circumstances depending on it. Everybody who wants to win it will be trying to win it."

That’s the long winded way of saying, “No idea...doesn’t everyone want to win it?!”

There have been glimpses this pre-season that make it look like he is raring to go.

Here’s hoping his fitness isn’t an issue, because if he can stay fit, he can win the Ballon D’Or this season. Some of his passing makes me hard. Throw in some goals and he walks POTY in the PL.

He doesn't play in red though.

Yup, there is that! I think he is so revered amongst the talking heads (and keeps his head down and his mouth shut, doing his business between the lines) that he MIGHT be able to overcome the chubbyfest over anyone in red.

one of a very elite group that can do virtually everything, my view is he should be given a free role, the more he has the ball the better, imo, so glad he plays for us....
