Are we a better team without Kev? He hardly played in the 100 point season and since he's been out we look unbeatable. His quality and assists are unbelievable so maybe a position change put him in the false 9 (that worked well when he played there) or right sided attacker leave Benardo and Gundo where they are.

I can see where you're coming from, as the balance looks good with Berardo in midfield. But before KDB was injured he contributed pretty much the same amount of direct assists, as our entire outfield squad combined. But yeah, we could easily play KDB and Foden as false wingers or in a free role. Then one of Sterling, Jesus or Aguero (when he's fit) upfront. We will probably see it happen at some point when they're all back fit. Pep will find a way to make it work and get the best out of the whole team.

He played loads in the 100 point season, and was one of the best players in the world- which he still is. A few games without him and people forget that?

Our upturn in form this season isn't linked to KDB's injury because it happened a good while before that. Gundogan's goalscoring also started when KDB was still in the team, as did Bernardo's return to form.

Better to think of him as a key part of the squad. Fortunately, we have such strength in depth with Bernardo, Gundo, Phil and co that we do not look weaker without him. If one of those guys was out and we brought KDB in, we would be just as strong too. How blessed we are.

Why be so direspectful to the OP?

He is amongst fellow City supporters and asking a genuine question. What other fans think is irrelevant. If he's not free to ask then what's the point of the forum?
Well said.Thankfully they are a minority, but this forum has a more than a few gobshites that can't think for themselves or just follow the herd.

Its a good question and a good thread.

From next year's Derby commentary.......
" And on the bench for United are Tuanzebe, Mctominay, and Greenwood.........
The bench for City includes KdB, Aguero and Messi......"

And best of all... its good to see the academy producing Messi, Sergio and Kev:)

He's so good that some of our players clam up a bit and just look to give the ball to Kev. Pep needs to find a way to continue the current model of success with Kev at its heart.
Or leave things as they are for the time being,it couldn't be going any better could it?
