Pep said Kev plays better when he has a free role, so he plays him behind Haaland as a second striker, I actually think he plays better as an 8 in a three man midfield.

I'm not sure why Pep is persisting with 4-4-2 Gundo and Rodri will always get overran, or Gundo ends up leaving Rodri in midfield alone.

I don't know if its because of the winter world cup but overall we've looked average this season, hopefully the players dont suffer serious injury and we can get back to our usual free flowing football in December.

He’s nowhere near the level of Yaya Toure or David Silva, stat padding aside.

I want to see Bernardo and Grealish as the two 8s, with Foden left and De Bruyne isolated wide right where his only elite attribute - crossing the ball - can be utilised without his default sloppiness killing the cohesion of the team.

Utter shite about KDB on here.
He was 100% committed as I saw from my seat and he had a bad day and that’s it.
Embarrassment.Disgraceful.Looking towards the world cup.
Re-watch the match and try to think clearly.
I come on here for a smile but some of you lot are crackers.

Bang on, great from Kev, same with Bernie. I think we've quite a few infiltraitors on here.

I'm impressed at how much shite you've managed to cram into each of your nine comments.

How on earth do you manage to pad stats, when your only elite attribute is crossing a ball?

Honest assessment of game, contribution & MOM award from our prince. It seemed the starting midfield struggled until the changes were made in the second half, certainly Onana offered more energy and it was noticeable KdB had more involvement after Trossard replaced Hazard but he offered no cover when Canada attacked which was concerning

You obviously have not watched Kevin De Bruyne for City in the last six years.

I agree with him though. He was gash last night. Didn't seem to know where to go and when he did get the ball, didn't really do anything with it. His shooting was uncharacteristically ll over the place as well.
His passing was poor but that happens. What surprised me most was his choice of pass. Twice he missed a simple ball to the right where the runner was clear in goal.
