I don't know how anyone can think he is City's best ever player when he has mutliple games like this every season.

Because even Messi has bad games from time to time? How many games Aguero was a shadow and didn't do anything? I guess he can't be our best forward ever. One of the most stupid posts here...shocking that a player has several bad matches in a season. I guess you just discovered that players are not machines who always play at the same level during a season...I don't know how anyone can think he is City's best ever player when he has mutliple games like this every season.

Poor today and it highlights how reliant we are on him. We have two players who consistently make things happen and that’s Foden and KDB. If for whatever reason they’re not on it, I have zero faith that any of the others can step up to the mark more often than not.
Grealish, Mahrez, Bernie, Gundo all have their plus points but none of them consistently provide in the final 3rd. Contrast that with a team/squad that also contained Sane, Sterling, Jesus and Merlin. I feel we have taken significant steps back in recent seasons and it shows on days like today. We cannot expect Foden and KDB to pull us out of the shit every week, it just won’t happen. Unless others start to step up, there will be more days like today, it’s a nailed on certainty.

Shit today but we've been leaning far too heavily on him to produce all season, it's just not possible to produce the world class performances needed every week.
Teams are working hard to shut him down it's leaving gaps elsewhere but we've got next to nothing without him. The inverted slow wingers are doing nothing for us, regardless of who plays there. The over reliance on him needs toning down and others need to step up.

City have become far too reliant on Kev. I don’t see anyone else stepping up when he is not at his best.
Can’t fault the player. Clearly shows we have a lot of tidy footballers but not many grab the game by the scruff. Foden maybe the exception.
