Non stop running but looked a bit slow & rusty. Didn’t seem fired up for it. He is still coming back from injury though

I actually felt like his general play was impressive. His final ball was lacking today though

Just watched interview with camel gob. No idea how old it is but Kev has his current locks.

Good viewing. Camel clearly respected of our Prince.

He wasn't great again, but I understand his frustration with being taken off.

At the same time, as others mentioned in the match thread, he was walking back far too often.

No player bigger than the club. Not even king KDB. Bad attitude today. Pep is the boss, Kevin is the player. If he has a problem with that, there is a very lucrative offer from Saudi in the summer.

Poor today and even poorer to be giving your manager shit for being rightly hooked. Bad day at the office, more than enough credit in his bank.

But the sooner he’s not part of a midfield 3, the better. Not got the legs for it.

Hindsight is wonderful, but I wonder whether he could have come off the bench today for the last half an hour?

Hasn't got the legs to be chasing the ball around Anfield, and was non existent in the 2nd half.

Looked like he had been on a bender with Jack the night before straight from kick off. Just no energy in his game whatsoever and we were basically playing with 10 men from kick off. No idea what's wrong with him, hopefully just a bad day but he can't be arguing about being subbed when you're that anonymous and barely moving.

It was right for him to be upset when he was substituted, I completely understand him. It was a big mistake to take him off.

I can only assume he is still not fully fit. Apart from the Haaland and Foden passes, most were wayward and he struggled holding up the ball against a pretty weak Endo.

His reaction to being taken off was interesting, as well, given he is an intelligent player and should have recognised he wasn’t really impacting play at that point and we were under the cosh, so needed someone who could put in a shift to see out the match.

That said, he wasn’t helped by what appeared to be an unfit Haaland. We obviously are going to have a tougher go when neither Kev nor Erling are on it.

Trying to decide if we can afford to give him a break against Newcastle to recharge ahead of the Arse match.

Have to disagree. I think the mistake was to wait so long to take him (and Alvarez) off. If we had another decent out-and-out striker, Haaland would have likely come off, too.
