Brilliantly anticipated which way Son was going to shoot and pulled off the save of the season, love Ederson but I don’t think he’s saving that with his legs like Stefan.

Should make him first choice to start next season. Let Eddie be No.2 for a while. He's been patient and earned his chance. Pep says he uses all the squad, keepers should be no different.

From being a relatively unknown keeper in the German second division, to a City hero. What a journey and what a tremendous performance last night.

I reckon I’ve watched the Son save about 50 times. It’s quite astonishing, and mesmerising, how he was able to read Son’s movement, and get down so quickly, in a split second. Even Son couldn’t believe he saved it.

If I ever meet the City scout that recommended we pluck a goalie from the German second division, who turned out to be a City hero, I’ll personally shout him a trip to the Octoberfest and pay for as much beer as he can possible consume over a weekend!

He definitely deserves a half a mil cut if Ortega is sold for £££'s.

Like what? He’s been in goal for 4 of the 5 trophies we’ve not won since he arrived.

Like the CL when Ederson's flapping at the RM cross in the semi final let them score the goal that gave them hope of a come back.

Ortega is not going to win trophies on his own, he's mostly been playing with the reserves, (lower quality players like Philips, Gomez and Nunes), in the trophies we haven't won.

Almost every game he's played when he's come on he's been super reliable, nay outstanding!

He's won City's man of the match countless times in the small number of games he's played. I don't believe Ederson has ever won that award?

I don't dislike Ederson, he's got great distribution generally, I just think Ortega is a better overall keeper.

It would be a big mistake to let him go, I realise things are moving in that direction, I appeal to the club to reconsider and keep him, please....

Ederson is our number 1 goalkeeper. And he has done nothing to make Pep decide otherwise.

I think Ortega surprised every man and his dog for being such a brilliant 2nd choice goalkeeper. Also a big thank you to the person who noticed him and signed him.

Ederson will play vs West Ham.
Ortega will play vs the scum.
I hope they both win their games.

I was pleased when Ortega came on, I said to my family we have more chance of winning now, so it proved.

Nothing against Ederson but I think if he's in net it would have been a Son goal, 1-1, advantage Arsenal and the league likely gone? I suppose we'll never know?

Please don't let Ortega leave, we will not find as good a keeper to replace him.
