To be completely fair to Gundo, he's been brought in as support and had to play week in, week out, which I don't think was the idea when he came back.

Was brought in to see games out for 15/20 mins and give Rodri / Kev a rest.
Those 2 being out has forced Pep’s hand.
Sadly Gundo looks like he’d struggle to get a hard on nowadays.

He was brought for free and our plan was to give him 25-30 minutes max . Having said that he was one of barca's best player last season , seems to have declined rapidly just like Walker

He looked sharp last year. It was worth picking him up on a free.
The mistake is continuing to play him when it's clear he's finished.
If I'm on " who wants to be a millionaire" I know who to call.

Hard to tell what his biggest concern is right now - losing games or losing his winter fuel payment.
Can barely keep up with his own shadow at the moment. Doesn’t have the legs to play regularly anymore, and especially against high intensity opponents like Liverpool. Brought back to be a squad player, but forced to start almost every game. Need to play Nunes centrally or one of Wright/O’Reilly until Kovacic is back

The McMannaman days were a bit before I remember properly but I know he has the "McPointy" nickname. Was he as bad as Gundogan is at the minute. Ilkay looks like hes a fucking conductor out there the amount hes just moving his hands to pass off runners and players.

I feel so sorry for the bloke.
Came back to be a super sub / getting the band back together and to do a bit of a victory lap before he goes into coaching (ideally at city).
Instead he’s being flogged to fuck playing virtually every minute of every game with half our first team out of action. It’s mental.
Cut him some fucking slack.

Heavy criticism on him here but actually feel he’s been better last 2. A lot of minutes into an older player isn’t ideal.

He made 50+ apps last year, he was not slowing down at all. He has fallen off a cliff since he landed back in Manchester. There is no one at City that cant be horrified by whats happened. It doesn't make any sense at all.
