He's like a little bottle of energy. Adds that pace and power that we need.

£14.1mil. What an absolute steal. Would be a massive pain in the ass if he was on any of the other Big6. The creativity he provides us is so evident. His passing (crossing specifically) and movement has already massively improved.

I think the limited playing time has definitely benefited him from playing nonstop for so long now. Can’t wait til he gets an off-season to rest and come back even stronger next season.

Worth remembering we wasn't going to bring him here until post world cup originally, which would have meant very little game time this season and just a settling in period for a young lad moving across the globe. All this is just a bonus until next season. He's going to force his way in and be a star.

Argentina and Messi were really lucky Julian and Enzo got to Europe in July of last year. No World Cup without those two.

With Alvarez having to miss out on the starting roll mainly due to Haaland means he looks fresh as a daisy and so hungry to succeed. I said a few weeks ago I see him as an attacking midfielder rather than a striker and it's looking like he can play there with ease. It's going to be really interesting just seeing how high his ceiling is because right now we don't really know.

As much as I’d hate to see Gundo or Silva go, part of me is looking forward to this lad being incorporated into the XI. Got to be the world’s best sub.

I have not seen many players as two footed as him. the cross to stones was with his left... pretty sure he is okay with his role at the moment because he didn't really have a longer rest period but as others said, he needs to be a starter next season. absolute class in every way possible.

should start on the weekend.

Wonder if he could be a late wildcard for Ballon D’Or if he wins the World Cup, CL, Prem and FA cup in the same season. Probably not due to his lack of appearances and only 11 goals but that would be some achievement in terms of silverware.

Yes. He took the corner with his right and then prodcued a peach of a ctross with his left that Stones nodded down. I thought that kind of 2 footed ability was only reserved for players like KDB?
This kid is a real gem and quite agree he needs to start far more next season.
For £14 million and probabaly a relatively low wage he is remarkable. it's strange isn't it how the media do not seem to be mentioning his price?

More often it's "world cup winner on the bench"
