Playing him as a winger is a waste.
Isn't that a reverse reverse Aguero/Dzeko situation?Reverse Aguero/Dzeko situation here. The little Argentine and the massive European from the Bundesliga.
That's true but i like his movement, workrate and passing already.People might need to lower their expectations of him for this season. He’ll look much better at the moment because he’s coming to us having just played properly so he looks much fitter and sharper than others. At some time in the season ahead, however, it will catch up with him and he’ll suddenly hit a wall. Once he gets through this season and his body and mind acclimatise to the new rhythm, then we’ll see him flourish.
If he’s anything like Tevez then I’m fully on board. One of my favourite players from the post 2008 era.Reminds me of Suarez/Tevez. If he’s half as good as either Txiki has done great business again.
I don’t think he’ll score at the rate Aguero did, but he looks the more complete player. If he’s anything like Tevez then I’m fully on board. One of my favourite players from the post 2008 era.
Promising early signs from the kid, hopefully we’ve unearthed a diamond
Never had any doubts that he’d be successful with us and fully expect him to score many, many goals, it’s just that I also know that he’ll hit a wall some time in the coming season. It’s a bit like jet lag: you know it’s coming but you carry on regardless but then it hits. He'll undoubtedly have ups and downs but we saw very encouraging signs last night. His pressing and movement were incredible and his link up play was far beyond what I expected. He showed he has the tools to be a success. Just need to see him shoot now!
