The best thing about this kid is he can get better. One of our game changers

Love this kids workrate, it's not jesus level but it's the next best thing. made a difference today, and that's all he needs to do when he gets chances.

It's going to be a fairly slow introduction for him this season unless there's a tonne of injuries but patience will pay off, have to remember the original plan was to leave him in Argentina until next year.

Couple shaky moments but to be expected. A lot more good than bad.

Going to be great for us. Settled in nicely and is already pushing for a place in the starting XI. Looking forward to seeing him get more opportunities as the schedule intensifies.

Good cameo, but still far away from what he can really do. He's playing it safe out there, making the high % passes. Once (if?) he gets the confidence of being a starter and really feeling part of the team, he will start doing all those special things that got City's attention.

I wonder what's Pep plan regarding Julian. Will he ever play Álvarez next to Haaland? Earling isn't going anywhere anytime soon, if Pep doesn't plan to play them together at some point, I don't see Julian accepting to be a career long sub.

The fixtures will get congested soon enough and he will definitely get starts.

I cannot wait to watch the game again on City+ and focus on Alvarez, he's exciting and relentless. Hear me out but his quick feet and one-touch pass and move are really Zincheko like and his body movement and creativity is all Jesus.

He's going to be a very special player for us.
