New Pedro. Just what Haaland needs to shine. Though I'm sure this is not what Pep has in his mind, necessity is what pushes this to happen.

I don’t want to overstate it because I think saying he changed the game would probably be a little OTT. However, he played a huge part in that. Get him in the side.
Not kidding: against parked buses at home I would honestly play him as LWB (with Cancelo RWB) ahead of a back three (including Walker), allowing Phil to play LW, Bernardo RW, and Kev to roam.

Good cameo, but still far away from what he can really do. He's playing it safe out there, making the high % passes. Once (if?) he gets the confidence of being a starter and really feeling part of the team, he will start doing all those special things that got City's attention.

I wonder what's Pep plan regarding Julian. Will he ever play Álvarez next to Haaland? Earling isn't going anywhere anytime soon, if Pep doesn't plan to play them together at some point, I don't see Julian accepting to be a career long sub.

Was on holiday in the dominican republic a few weeks back

Loads of Argentinians on holiday there too. Boca, River, Racing fans etc

To a man they were all telling me how good Alvarez is and how quality he's going to be.. and this was from a load of Boca fans who obviously aren't going to think too highly of an ex River player really

So glad he's ours
