I think the reason Alvarez hasn't played more is because fitting him in the team alongside Haaland and KDB might be more difficult than we'd like. I don't think there is space for them all in the middle. So either KDB or Alvarez has to go wide (KDB did yesterday).
I hope Pep finds a way to play them all together.

I think the formation that Pep used vs Nottingham Forest would be ideal for that:

-----------‐---Rodri

Bernardo KDB Foden

-----Alvarez Haaland

No idea what he needs to do to start ahead of grealish and mahrez.
He needs to keep doing what he is doing, that's all. He is a new player who has played almost non-stop for a year. He is competing against top-drawer players who have delivered immense success for the club - players who we don't need to be disrespectful of - and I am sure that he will earn his place as a valued member of the team, alongside the names mentioned.

why the fuck is pep not using his energy against these bus parking teams. playing slowly is exactly what these teams want us to do

I'm thinking that yesterday's game taught us that we shouldn't be starting any more games without one of Bernie, Phil or Alvarez in the team. They're energy is infectious and they're all nippy with great feet in tight spaces - helps us get the best out of Kev, Rodri, Gundo and possibly Haaland. We looked so lumbered, one dimensional and one paced without any of them last night

If he's here for the long haul, I genuinely think he's going to crack my all time favourites list. Just brings so much guile and energy to the team.

No sure what success grealish has brought to the club . Mahrez , yes but sadly his age is catching up to him. Alvarez needs to encouraged and start games more often. It will be a shame to lose him.
Speaking the truth is not same as being disrespectful to any player

We won the Premier League with Grealish making 26 appearances.
I have no problem with speaking the truth, which is why I feel comfortable in saying that there were several players that had a poorer game than Jack against Dortmund who have faced little or no criticism. In my view, he is unfairly singled out and has taken up the scapegoat role once owned by many others.

But of course there needs to be a scapegoat. For many football fans it is as important as a morning cup of tea.
With the sale of Sterling there is a gaping hole. I am a bit surprised Mahrez hasn't stepped up as Scapegoat in waiting, but the media and pundits have encouraged the masses to elect Grealish.

Natural fit to replace Bernie I think, can see Pep dropping him deeper in the short term, but he’s just a magical find, he is going to be very special in a couple of year, world class potential!

Our neighbor is trying to push Rushford and Sancho into English world cup team despite they contributed almost nothing in the past season when England played tough qualifier games.

Sadly our own fan base is buying this nonsense.
