The Abbey Hey twitter feed hints there will be a Man City YT viddy released soon about the Alvarez fam participation there.
 
Apparently Julian is tearing things up so much in practices with Argentina that Scaloni is contemplating the chance of changing the scheme to fit Álvarez in their first match.

Personally I don't see Scaloni changing anything but I thought folks here would find interesting that Julián is standing above everyone during Argentina's trainings.
 
He came in too late, the team was already completely too despered to tie, he did what he could with very little service.

Julian Alvarez not the only footballer in his family get to know them, Alvarez's brother's playing for Abbey Hey FC as shown in this video defo a good watch.



My brother lives on Goredale avenue right next to Abbey Hey's stadium, nice to see Julian's got a close knit family supporting each other it can only be good for us.

Better than Messi .............well he was tonight , he ran Poland ragged and scored a superb goal on the world stage and yet he is a bench warmer at the Etihad !!!
Seriously this lad needs to be starting games in a blue shirt , he is ahead of Mahrez and Grealish and our first choice front three should be Alvarez , Haaland and Foden.
He is far more than a bench warmer and needs game time to get to his peak form , there is so much more to come from him , cannot believe how little we paid for him and i would bet his contract isnt anywhere near the likes of Mahrez & Grealish.
Renegotiate and extend his contract and tie him down because Barca & Real will be knocking on the door next season , he is the next Tevez/Aguero.
 


1st start in Argentina's league = goal
1st start in Premier League = goal
1st start in Champions League = goal
1st start in World Cup = goal

And I'm pretty sure he scored on his first start in Libertadores and one of your English cups.

Let's not get silly comparing him with Messi.

But I agree with your other point. He needs to be starting, either alongside Haaland in a front 2 or in a front 3 with Foden/Grealish and Haaland.
 
Out of topic but what's up with Julián's acne? He didn't have that in Argentina, and he was a teeneger here. XD
