I thought he was pretty poor to be honest, his passing was pretty abysmal, though his movement off the ball did give others space to play.
I disagree (respectfully, which is a dying art on bluemoon at the moment) with your comment about his passing. It's his desire to play quick, attacking, decisive passing which i love most about his game. He may give the ball away more, but it'll definitely change the defensive mindset of the opposition. Agree with your movement - and he's got a motor, i'll give him that.

No problem, but he gave the ball away far too often for me.
Fair enough. I don't mind is giving the ball away if it's trying to create something. Admittedly that wasn't always the case with him, but he's happy to play the quick pass, and that's the bit I'm excited about. Also he's got a bit of the "johnny-on-the-spot" about him

One of the reason Pep didn't start him mostly.
That's not a reason, Pep clearly thinks there are two different styles of playing with the players he has, with Julian it's a more direct one, the other one is more tactical, he already mentioned this the other day. I think he should combine both styles in the same game more often.

Agreed but his energy and goal threat make such a difference when he plays.

His workrate is superb.

Unsurprising. He needs to know he’s valued otherwise why would he sign a new contract so soon?

I know nobody from higher up would question Pep but I’d be surprised if they’d be comfortable potentially losing a gem they managed to find for £15m so soon.

Yep he has four years left I wouldn’t be loaning him to anyone if he wants to “play more” I’d tell him yep you can go but for 75m until we get that fee knuckle down son work your bollocks of!

He should be in the team, we look so much better and energetic when he is and he’s always looking for Haaland.

He’s like Jesus but is a miles better finisher. Should be trusted more IMO

He probably play more next season but depends who goes or comes in..

Too good to be a bench player but at the same time probably some way off the first eleven of a top title chasing side.

He needs to be patient another season learning under Pep is ideal , sometimes the grass is not always greener at another club.
