Two really good goals and made a big contribution for the full ninety minutes , Haaland was a snip at £50m but Alvarez could be the find of the season at £14m , he's like a Tevez/Aguero hybrid , yet another Argentinian who will give everything for the shirt.

His finishes were great but what sets him apart is what he does off the ball. He doesn’t stop. He presses, he gets involved in the mad swarm to stop counters when they’re breaking, he comes short, he goes in behind, he goes left, he goes right, he sniffs chances in the box. He deserves to be a success for this work rate and attitude.

He makes everyone ('cept Bernardo) look a lazy sod.

This kid will go far. Loved the confidence to shoot for his second, keep feeling he needs that shot of confidence to feel like he's a key part of the squad, you can see it coming. Won't score s many but we don't need him to, he's going to be every bit as brilliant for us as Erling.

You can see a situation developing quickly where he will play in all the big games just like Jesus did for the tempo and intensity they bring.

Was MOM for me, his link up play and understanding of where he needed to be was unreal for someone who has just joined this team. Two excellent goals and worked his socks off aswell, think he will be an absolute superstar for us!

He is good, reminds me a bit of Salas when at River... Scary to think Julian and Erling are just at City only a few weeks so far, if injuries are kept at bay we will be unstoppable
