Despite The Predators hat-trick I was hugely impressed with this kid tonight
I’ve watched Alvarez on you tube and some of his performances for River Plate have been outstanding. Watching him against Forest you can see just how intelligent he is, he started off in the first half playing just behind Haaland, and it looks like a tactic that will be successful, what a talent this young man js.I'm excited to see how this lad gets on. Love his raw style.
I think you’re right.Haaland is the man, the superstar and any attacker is going to play second fiddle to him but there’s something about Alvarez that is just more endearing.
Whilst watching the game tonight I thought of players of similar ilk (young, raw, promising, good CV) like Torres, Sane, Sterling and none of them were fans favourites and on the whole not many people were bothered when they left.
I think Alavrez will be different.
Had to be 10+ km.Going to give bernardo a run (literally) for his money in the distance stakes. Must have covered some ground. Superb player
He will have to learn how to pass backwards, though.i get navas vibes from him, a player who will work his socks off every time he gets a chance and is happy to contribute in whatever way he can
