Against the very best like for example Real Madrid, that kind of mistake will cost us a goal.
Just as easy to say that his goal against a team like RM could also mean a great win. Like i said, every player makes mistakes during games, technically many of them could cost the team a goal at some point, it's not like he missed a penalty or missed a clear 1-on-1 chance.

One for you FOCs.

He comes from the Argentine…
And on his back he wears one-nine
Scoring goals for City is what he does best
And he goes by the name Of Al-va-rez…

It could go on forever…

Keep hearing this Dickov comparison, WTF.

Paul Dickov ran about like a headless chicken because as a football his talent was wanting.

Alvarez has the lot, technic, natural ability, superb finishing and he has the Argentinian spirit which is unmatched.

Alvarez has already produced more than we could have dreamed of, the kid is a bargain and if he continues learning and working , we have one hell of a player.

Took his goal very well but on a couple of other opportunities, I thought he either took an unnecessary touch away from the goal or a heavy one(the pass from KDB near the end of the first half comes to mind). Worked his socks off though.
Got to remember the rain on Saturday was causing a lot of issues aswell . He will score goals but he will also make rookie mistakes aswell because is nowhere near the finished article .

Particularly if Erling fucks off to Madrid next week!

He's doing alright for me so far. Has looked a bit lost at times, has looked dynamite at others. To be expected from a new signing who's so young.

We're lucky to have him, cost us the money for an average fullback. Can be decisive for us in April and May, will be more settled by then.

Bloody love him. Has always reminded me a little of Kinkladze, but he has much more to his game.
Great temperament, hard working, intelligent play and a great shot on him. What's not to like?

I also think coming here under the radar of buying Haaland has done him a lot of good.

Good player. Can finish with either foot and makes runs and takes up positions that point to an innate ability. Lively bugger too but that might wear off a bit !! :)

One thing that surprises me about him is his passing range - he swept a ball out to Grealish in the first half the other day which was KDB-esque. Really whipped pass bent around a defender onto Grealish's foot.

He is a natural killer. I would NEVER EVER replace him by Gabby Jesus or Sterling.
I am so happy that we left those two banters behind.

Yeah it impressed me too that pass. Imagine him in his late 20s. Total all rounder. Reminds me of how Kane developed that side of his game. Bet Pep will love it.

Just hope he gets enough playing time to keep him happy.

Massively bigger impact than Jack.
