Whatever you think of Grealish, Pizzaro and Maicon are not even remotely comparable signings. They cost virtually nothing and did very little. Grealish is by quite a margin the clubs record signing. I'm not anti Jack but you just cannot compare free or virtually free transfers and record transfers.

I understand your point. But I don't look at the fee, I look at what the player contributes to the team. I'm still confident that Jack will be an excellent acquisition for the club. Others disagree. So be it.

Given we got £45m & £47.5m for Jesus & Sterling respectively, I'd say you're selling Alvarez a bit short there.
