He's the second goalscorer of the team in the season and yet he's one of the players with less minutes played

If anyone ever suggests City have an unfair advantage because they have a World Cup winner "sitting on the bench"...

Alvarez 2400 mins, 17 goals, cost: £14-20m
Darwin Nunez 2365 mins, 15 goals, cost: £65-85m

People need to remember that he has been playing football non stop for nearly two years now. He played a whole season for River and managed 95 minutes against Velez Sarsfield on July 7th and then came off the bench for us at West Ham on August 7th. He basically had a month to come to a different hemisphere, culture, and climate, meet knew colleagues and process an entirely new system, and since then he has been in every match squad save for the trip to Leeds and the League Cup win over Liverpool. Oh, and when he did get a month ‘off’, he went and won the ruddy World Cup.

Some of his touches are sublime, some are woeful but when this lad perfects those moments, he will be unplayable. What a talent! Fair return of goals and assists for an in/out player embedding himself after a season. Also, he played a calendar year, had a minimum break, joined the PL squad, went to Qatar, rejoined the squad and carried on until now... CHAMPION material. A proper grafter. Congratulations

The only thing he needs to improve is the heavy first touch. And is a very coachable thing.

Great player, he's a handsome Tevez

Argentinian player Alvarez cost us a reported £14.1m in 2022.

Twenty years before that Veron cost the rags double that for 2 seasons "work"

City always ruining transfer markets

I'm sure they do, lots of other clubs will also.
Idk man, Bayern sound like a really really good option for him since he's a high level player and with Haaland in the squad he will never be a regular as a striker or play in his natural position when both of them are on the field, Bayern is a really big team

So how many games has he started this season? How many minutes has he played?

I wouldn't give Bayern the steam from my piss. They can have Cancelo, they are welcome him.

I wholeheartedly disagree. Julian and Erling CAN play in the same team 90%+ of the time. Julian can play behind Erling or to his right. I can guarantee he will play much more next season, despite making 47 apps for us this season (the number is likely to go up to 50). That's not taking into consideration his 7 apps at the World Cup and the break he had after, the fact it's his first season, and he hasn't had a real off-season for almost 2 years. He is one of the greatest young players in the world, and he is not for sale. I wouldn't swap him for any other player right now. He would most likely not want to go to Bayern anyway, it would be a step back for him, and he would have to learn a new language again. Here, he has a lot of Spanish-speaking staff, Pep, and some players. I wouldn't underestimate the value of that.

Sorry but you can't guarantee Alveraz playing much more next season, unless you mean guaranteeing playing him on FIFA 23; )
