I have been saying this from the beginning, and I will repeat it again. If he is fit, he starts. I don't care in what position. He is one of the most talented footballers we have ever had. He will become one of the best players in the world very soon. He is already world-class.

Julian Alvarez becomes the 3rd Argentine to score +20 goals as a Manchester City player in the club's entire history in all competitions after Sergio Agüero (260) and Carlos Tevez (73).

Pace for the second looked very promising. Add that and keep improving touch, sky's the limit.

He’s like a Duracell Bunny, never stops running, last year was difficult at Club level because of the World Cup. However at the age of 23 he is a World Cup winner, a treble winning player with us and a winner of several medals with River Plate. More importantly he’s a top lad who has benefited from Pep’s guidance, what a brilliant lad, Julian, I salute you.
