Foden is the last player that needs a rest and he is not a youngster, he is an experienced, multi title winning international footballer.
He has experience and he has titles, granted, but he is filling the boots of guys who have nearly a decade of more football experience in them. You simply cannot replace that level of experience and nous by running around ever more frantically and looking for the ball. Our team is currently remarkably young, particularly in the attacking areas, and unless they get the occasional rest over the winter months, that will likely have a toll later this season.

Sorry but now is his time, he should becoming the main man now, he has the lot, a wonderful technical ability and a superb footballing brain, but he has to go out on the pitch and dominate, he simply does not do that enough .

Yesterday was a game that should be his, but sadly he was never in it.

Genuinely feel that this lack of inexperience upfront has gone under the radar with Chelsea recruitment overshadowing us with how bad they are doing with the young players.

We haven’t been our best but got the wins. Still working out the new system Pep wants us to play and yet to stream roll teams over whatever the results against Fulham. It was not a hammering.

We have to step up against Arsenal but they always play their game but it’s a different story if they defend deep.

His free kicks are sublime - stunning goal today
Finally we found someone who is so good at this now. With time he might score them like how free kicks are like penalty kicks for Messi. One can hope! Every time he shines he shows how good of footballer that Haaland flaws when not scoring become more glaring.

Same thing could be said about his team mates to Saturday.

It could but it's not a valid excuse.
He can be, but he doesn't play alone, there's a system and there's a coach. He's not Messi or Ronaldo or Mbappe, he will always put the team ahead of himself, he's selfless, and he has Haaland up front. Of course he can do more, but so far he's been pretty great, i mean he has just began to be a regular in the starting eleven, in a team of many stars, it's not as easy as it sounds.
