194.5m losses 2010/2011

I have read a lot on here about the true breakdown of the loss and in all fairness I was worried about it when I heard how much we lost but not at all now, if we manage to win the premiership and the club do not bring in any more big names in 2 years or so we may break even and that is when the shock is going to go into the hearts of the other clubs.

If they do get us for the sponsorship deal then city will point the finger out to the other clubs around Europe that are fiddling things, Real Madrid for example are bankrolled by the government. I remember reading an article about how the government purchased a training facility off them for a silly amount of money to help them balance the books, so either way if we get screwed so will they - the question we need to ask ourselves is are they going to ban us, Madrid and countless other top clubs from the competition and the answer is no as then it will not be much of one!

Still have to look at increasing revenue streams. This might include having a different sponsor on the training kits. Seeing if it is possible to have some other sponsor of the new ground for the 2nd team.

Maybe the best may of increasing revenue streams is to buy a kit manufacture and do it for ourselves, thus eliminating the midddleman.

The best way to increase revenues is build a hotel and casino . and we will beat real madrid in revenues . nothing beats a casino and hotel . and when u have 60,000 fans visiting the site ( assuming we expand in future ) , casinos will act as gold mines

The Billionaire club is a live studio debate on SSN on Monday night to discuss the FFP legislation. The live guests are Christian Purslow and Ivan Gazidis.

I'm sure that will be a completely balanced debate and in no way biased towards City.

Think you mean "in no way biased AGAINST City" ?
I think he meant it exactly as it was written, ironically ;o)

Of an alleged £195m loss, £145m was players. Since then we've sold players at profit (Jerome Boateng), and not spent a great deal. What did we spend net in the summer? £30m? We have the Etihad deal and CL money coming in. I'm quite optimistic really.

What happens when we spunk £150mil buying Messi?

Don't want that shite any where near our club, all he brings is goals and work rate and I personally don't want the likes of him any where near us.

He'd struggle to get in our side ahead of AJ anyway.
