Something to maybe see in the long term, but in the first 20 minutes there were two occasions where he whipped a pass into Bernardo just outside the area. In a similar way Mendy does to De Bruyne.

That's possibly a sign as to how both his and Bernardo's games are being developed.

The almost penalty was dumb, and Neville was right to say it's becoming a very bad habit.

But other than that I thought he had a good game at the back in all honesty.

Not sure if Walker is a bit thick , he has given two stupid penalties away and one for England and he does it again but is saved by the offside flag , for all his qualities , he is becoming a liability in our own penalty area , he can do his barging and niggling fouls but do them outside the box. One of the best defenders i have seen and one that didnt dive in was Tony Book , he jostled players and stayed on his feet , even George Best never got the better of Tony Book. The captain is still involved at the club perhaps he should have a quiet word with our own resident penalty area idiot.

He's like Otamendi in reverse in ways. Otamendi was ridiculously haphazard at times but he was a surprisingly good defender in the box. I think the only penalty he gave away was the weird handball in the CL (although he was lucky not to concede one against United I think). Walker meanwhile is usually very good at what he does but he's become a risky player to have around the penalty area.

Said prematch.....how Kyle performs largely influences/coincides with how the team performs as a whole.

He wasnt at his best last night, and we were fortunate to get away with one of his frequent brain farts.

You honestly think it was a foul on Rashford?
