I thought he played well today.

Technically limited, especially compared to the rest of the squad, but generally a consistent high performer and his pace is often needed.

Hes our worst player on the ball and you would not expect that for £50M.

Like I posted he has been good signing but overpriced.

His cross field passing is up there with anybody else in the squad IMO. Given the market for right backs being so limited and what he can offer being brilliant, I wouldn’t say overpriced personally.

Fair enough though, all about opinions.

Signing him was the single biggest improvement to our side in 2017.

He allowed us to play how Pep wanted, he locks down half the pitch and lets us play with a line that would be (and was) suicidal without him. We don't win titles with Stones and Otamendi, or Laporte and Otamendi, without Walker being the full back who sits on half way and kills any long ball counterattack, who cuts out any pressure releasing balls to fast men over the top.

In open space running back towards his own goal, he's probably the best defender in the world, he's so powerful and so fast that you're not getting past him, he just cuts it out or eases forwards off the ball - and that's the situation Pep puts him in.

He's been worth every penny. 9 trophies in the bag and probably has a couple more years left.

Oh and 99% sure if we get past PSG in the Champions League, it will be thanks to Walker stopping Mbappé doing what he did vs. Bayern and just carrying it from one end to the other and leading 1 man attacks or waiting for the rest to catch up.

Someone has to be the worst. That's life...however he's still likely better technically than 99% of other footballers on the ball. He's just surrounded by freakishly good technical players, so of course he stands out a bit. His own positive attributes though are simply remarkable and rare. Well worth every penny.

Agree with all this, plus the fact that his fitness record has been outstanding. An excellent buy.

Deserves a special mention. He’s been sensational recently and had the dangerous Son in his pocket today. He’s the best right back in the league and over the period has been since we bought him.
Fully agree with you. He seems to get some criticism for not he by a ball playing genius and making the odd mistake but I really admire and rate him.
Always puts a shift in for the team and still incredibly fast.

I think he has been a superb buy I really do. A lot of people bang on about 50 million pounds for a full back but he's been worth every penny.
Has been collosal for us at times. Great full back.

Not his greatest fan, but he has really started to play well the last few weeks. He is timing when to go and when to stay, he is also passing a bit quicker that means his lack of technical ability on the ball compared to others is not as exposed. Well done Kyle

Dont know where to put this but hes been racially abused on social media. After the win yesterday
