I believe next season (2021/22) is still under contract to NBC. The question is WHICH NBC PROPERTY will they use when they shutter NBCSN. The Premier League is not happy with NBC’s use of Peacock, as it restricts viewership. The plan is to maximize access AND revenue, of course.

The contract for the seasons AFTER next year is the one that’s up in the air. Can’t say as I enjoy CBS (Paramount+) coverage of the Champions League, which is pay to play, or even Disney/ABC’s coverage of the Cup competitions on ESPN+ (Also pay to play! I use the Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+ package).

That said, I really like NBCSN coverage. Rebecca Lowe is an excellent host. Knowledgeable, witty, English, with English sensibilities. I could live without some of the analysts, as they seem a bit second rate, but the overall NBCSN football experience is very enjoyable.

I hope the Yanks don’t screw this up! Would be nice to just have a “British Football Channel” for PL, EFL Cup, FA Cup, and CL games, but that’s a pipe dream!

Thanks - that's useful info. So we are stuck with Peacock for next season? I thought it was moving to USA or some such. I quite like Robbie Mustoe - generally pretty fair to City. Robbie Earle has got better and Arlo White is a decent commentator. But Lee Dixon is mindblowingly bad - thinks he's some comic genius and is always ragging on City. It's impossible to believe he was a City fan growing up.

Arlo White is OK, but a little too much at times. Likes to hear himself talk.

Lee Dixon is mildly amusing, but his only insight is “dressing room banter” not tactics.

I like Graeme Le Saux as a color commentator. Think he is knowledgeable and well-spoken.

Rebecca Lowe is the glue that keeps it all together very well, and I particularly enjoy “The Lowe Down” on YouTube!
 
Ignoring preferences between who people want at RB between Walker and Cancelo, he deserves more respect from some on here.

Been vital to us since his time here, and again today.
 
His aggression often gets him into trouble in bug games but was class today

Still a huge player for us, he's into his 30s now but he's a specimen he's not going to lose it overnight

Think he will be good for us another 2 years at which point we'd probably like to activate Porros buy-back clause when he's 32

Don't think that buyback lasts 2 more years. They expire at some point.

Well you cant look it that way as he has not been single handedly responsible for those.

In terms of ability level he definitely is overpriced but that does not make him bad signing like I said.

Hes our worst player on the ball and you would not expect that for £50M.

Like I posted he has been good signing but overpriced.

Well I don’t think he was overpriced to start with so I can look it it how I like.
