2 | Kyle Walker - 2023/24

What he said on England winning the euros over the treble leaves a very bitter taste for me.

Has been a great servant but wouldn't mind seeing him moved on this summer.

FA Cup final and he’s just jogging back on the second goal. Can’t get over the lack of effort he displayed. He’s been shit this season and was shit again today. Lazy and cost us vs Madrid. Lazy and cost us today. Was once world class but is way, way off those levels now. It’s over.
Disgraceful

Agreed. Even if he thinks it he should have been a bit more tactful in answering the question. Fucked me off.
He's a thick **** in the same way that Micah is. Doesn't really know what he's saying and doesn't really articulate things very well.

Bizarre choice of captain, who was minutes away from leaving last summer, who has had very questionable performances over the last 2 or 3 seasons, and who carries more baggage than an A380.

The manager should be picking the captain not the team and it should be settled for years not changing every season
It seems to have worked perfectly fine for us though. Pep knows what he's doing. Its the perfect way to destroy the dressing room power play we see in most clubs, the idea is that the players made you their captain and they can strip you off your power if you get carried away.

When the manager appoints the captain, it gives the captain a sense of being the anointed one and the teammates start thinking of him as the second in command to the manager, the manager's right hand man and next thing you know, you have a good old "old boys club" building up in your dressing room, players start trying to get on the good side of the captain, yes men turning a blind eye to the misconduct of the captain and his trusted associates and before you know it, you end up with a John Terry, Rio, Stevie G situation where a player and his loyalists hold the entire team ransom.

Pep is right on this one.
