Off the pitch stuff belongs off the pitch.

Walker is one of the best players we’ve signed, and continues to be. If you think he is the only one who messes around, or has messed around, I’d say that’s extremely naive.

Keep him as captain for me. He has been crucial to our success, and will be going forward. That is where it matters. On the pitch.

Fuck off. He might be a dick in his private life and I agree he shouldn’t be club captain because of this but to suggest he hasn’t been a great and inspirational player for us is utter bollocks. The best right back we’ve had in modern times and his performance against Madrid in particular will always be legend.

When he eventually retires he will finally get recognised as the best RB in Premier League and Manchester City history, and probably only second to Armfield for England.

We won't win games consistently whilst he's still playing.

The opposition has realised how bad he is and is now targeting him.

Getting turned inside out for both of Newcastle's goals.. what's he doing?

And where's his pace gone.. Newcastle are running all around and over him!

Both full backs are so poor. It won’t be surprising if Pep reverts back to Akanji and Ake as last season, once Stones is back fit

It's the Rooney England scenario all over again, but for us.

Past it, but been made captain so has to play every game and cannot be dropped or substituted.

Think Fernandinho became captain for us when he was no longer playing all the time. Difference is, we're short of quick defenders, so he's playing more often than he really should be any more.
