Just about made it back into shot for their second goal. I'm not blaming him for it, but it's a classic example of the lack of effort from the entire team to get back and defend, jogging back seems to be the norm now.

Does anybody else get infuriated by his throw ins? He takes an eternity, regularly ignoring the simple 4yard throw and return and they're more often than not straight to the opposition anyway

It also shows that his pace going proves that he has nothing else to fall back on. We probably would look better if anyone competent could play his position. We won a treble with him largely on the bench. His cameo against Madrid that year should have been him riding into the sunset, and then he could have gone swinging his cock around whilst in decline everywhere else in the world. But he was the first and biggest mistake in the squad planning after the treble
 
He could probably do a job at CB but no longer has the explosive pace and stamina to get up and down the wing as a RB.
