Not just him though, the team is guilty of over-playing, passing too many times.

Not using Foden to beat anyone you can chose any from half a dozen players, Bernardo doesnt deserve his place in the team , and in my opinion he didnt have a fine game , he plays like a little kid runs about with loads of enthusiasm but does not affect games and if he gets a goal scoring chance he bottles it because his confidence is shredded .He's had over two seasons to get his act together hes had plenty of chances, and he isnt showing any signs of getting back to his form in his first season. Lets face facts , he's another Negredo one season wonder and he has done nothing to prove otherwise

He missed a good chance and should have shot instead of passing to Mahrez, who should have done better with the chance BTW.

To call his performance shit on the basis of missing a chance is wrong though IMO. As if that if your benchmark, we should probably sell Sterling, Jesus and KDB with the chances they waste.

Bernardo is a great player but....

He isn’t and never will be good enough - to play RW and deliver 10 assists and goals per season..

And yes, that’s the standard if you want to win the PL

That’s all fair but he missed two sitters not one. The first chance was when De Bruyne squared the ball to him from the left and he should have shot with his first or second touch and when he did eventually shoot, it was so feeble it may not have reached the line.

He’s not the only one though, the forward line is anti-clinical

He will need to do better than that. He either plays as an 8 are we move him on or spend the next 3 years talking about how our players are not clinical in front of goal.

I'm not commenting on his performance but that pass to KDB which resulted in the shot straight at the keeper was not a good pass. KDB was in acres of space and Bernardo's pass lacked any pace on it meaning De Bruyne was forced to hit the shot first time instead of potentially taking another touch and having a better chance.
