The Very Best Of Morrissey

Only if the year was 1671

They often like Gene too. The rest of his list composes of all the bands Johnny Marr has worked with like The The, Haven and Electronic.

1) The Go! Team - Rolling Blackouts
2) Those Dancing Days - Daydreams and Nightmares
3) Friendly Fires - Pala
4) Selebrities - Delusions
5) Tennis - Cape Dory
6) Gold-Bears - Are You Falling In Love?
7) The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart - Belong
8) Little Scout - Take Your Light
9) Wishing Wars - Phases
10) Memory Tapes - Player Piano

Against all odds of it working......the reuniting of the original Alice Cooper Band, and members of his first 'solo' record, to do a follow up to the original was an amazing success...

WELCOME 2 MY NIGHTMARE

Puressence - Solid State Recital
Elbow - Build A Rocket Boys!
Anna Calvi - Anna Calvi
The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart - Belong
Noel Gallaghers High Flying Birds - Noel Gallaghers High Flying Birds
Pete And The Pirates - One Thousand Pictures
Yuck - Yuck
The Panics - Rain On The Humming Wire
Cloud Nothings - Cloud Nothings
3 Daft Monkeys - Social Vertigo

And a mention for All The Young, whose Quiet Night In EP is superb. I can't wait to hear the album when it's released

Have to disagree with Yuck. When I was listening to the album I really felt 'it', but when I turned it off I quickly forgot most of the songs, bar two or three.

A promising debut, no doubt, just not one of the best of the year for me.

Did you see them live yet? They make one hell of a noise for a 3 piece.

Hehe, not gonna lie, I've seen them 8 times already. They are absolutely amazing live. And you're right for a 3 piece it's absolutely amazing. Similar to Muse in "wall of sound" for a three piece. Just brilliant live, for me the best live band around at the moment.
