Compared to the display Garcia and Lescott put on yesterday, he very well might be the answer to more than one question, unfortunately.

Probably Robben - if not Mandzu/Pizarro as forward and Müller is on the right

Probably Bayern's best eleven right now - but not played in with Martinez, Dante and Schweinsteiger new in training and Thiago never having played with Schweinsteiger.
 
A good opportunity for Boyata, and for Pellegrini to see if we really need another centre half. If he gets run ragged we go out and buy, if not he stakes a claim for a squad place. Could be the moment that defines Boyata`s City career.
