It is only a consideration worth pointing out given that we will have a brand new manager and players trying to fit in after a heavily disrupted summer (if any of the players we are supposedly signing are over their broken bones by then).

No harm in setting out the downside.

It is certainly far better to be playing the qualifier than not at all. But we should make sure this is a one season only adventure given that it is undeniably a disruption in our early season which is already more clogged than most other leagues.
 
Whichever is the biggest bastard in the qualifiers you can bet your Arse we'll get them. David Gill will adjust the seedings accordingly....
 
If we don't get through the qualifying round does that mean we go into the Europa league or we out.
 
The reality is we are going to be the team everyone else in the qualifiers will want to avoid.... but cos we are city we can't help looking on the downside. It years and years of conditioning to expect the worse, we can't help it and it is what makes us sooooo different from the arrogance of rags n dippers supporters
 
So the 'bomb' at OT was a fake one left there by mistake during a training exercise for sniffer dogs at the ground. Someone will surely have to get the axe over that cock up. And Bournemouth fans must be compensated after such a long journey.
