I just think its an incredibly odd past time to have for the sake of curiosity in an election youre not a part of, and the idea that only primary knowledge was good knowledge ended around the time the first universities were founded 1000 years ago so I dont knkw why youre doing it.

I didn't say that primary knowledge is the only good knowledge. Primary knowledge is great in these types of situations because then I can look at other secondary sources and think "hold on, that's out of context" or "well that's not really my experience there". When the topic is about how people view things then I find looking at how people view things more informative than reading somebody else, who may or may not have an agenda, telling me how people view things.
We're not talking about long term cause and effect history here, we're talking about actual examples of people's views.

Essentially, I understand that a VAST VAST VAST majority of the media are completely full of shit and totally slanted and I like to try and have access to reliable information. If you can think of a better way than this then I'm all ears.

And I don't read about politics because of an election, I read about politics because I am interested in politics and the current state of the world and attempt to be a somewhat informed citizen to the best of my reasonable ability so that when I do cast a vote then I can try to have some form of a grasp on what it is the reality of the society that I am in. Especially the only remaining global superpower with a cultural dominance over the English speaking world of which me and my country are a part of and allied to.

Stealing that.

Instead of debating the conservative bona fides of the panel, which I truly couldn't care less about, you actually think Trump went out there and did well considering he's well behind at the moment? That's the substance I was getting at.

No I think Trump embarrassed himself, his country, and his party and Biden absolutely trounced him on almost every issue.

But that wasn't and still isn't my takeaway from the night. My takeaway is that it was a circus sideshow which the entire country should be ashamed of and make them all want to throw their candidates off the nearest cliff rather than endlessly and pointlessly discussing how their guy "won" or actually "was only like that because of the other guy". But the vast majority aren't going to do that because they are brainwashed partisans who like their guy or much more accurately, hate the other guy so much that everything that they do is evidence of wrongdoing.

The entire show was disgusting. These tweets sums up my views on the entire thing:

I'll remind you that this was a DEBATE by two grown adult men in politics who will have control of the greatest military arsenal in the history of mankind while also being the economic, cultural and scientific centre of at least the Anglosphere if not the entire world. It's fucking embarrassing.

In the article you linked to it mentions a few words synonymous with Black for equation and profiling. For example

Here, HRC goes on to link that word with others before leading up to her summation of 'Super Predator'.

All whilst she's talking about "kids" to quote her.

Here's Biden talking about Black people without mentioning the demographic.

It puts a lot of people on the back foot when it comes to the young Black vote as they saw their families and friends locked away as they were brought up in the cycle of having no parents, no money and having very little choice but to sort themselves out.

There are some absolute tools on here that continue to not understand why certain people are hesitant to cast a vote for Biden as it's like bending the knee to your tomenter.

But they're being told to 'suck it up'?

Fuck, you would never catch me doing that either!

And that's not even to mention the amount of times he's said 'fuck off!' to Progressives whilst courting their vote!

I might duck out soon because I'm still not seeing it, through British eyes. I need to see contemporaneous evidence describing 'predator' or 'super-predator' as code words for black kids because I'm not finding it in my searches. My suspicion is it has been inferred onto it over the passage of time. The link by the way suggests that the Dems were not using racial code (or at least not before 2012, the date of the article) but if you suspect every time someone chooses to use the word 'crime' they are using it as a code-word, I think we're done.

It's all moot anyway in terms of the presidential debate as it will count for nought.

I can assure you that I'm much too lazy to ever actually do any moderating work.
I’m gonna be honest, you’ve intrigued me as to what the “actual” far right groups think of Trump and I want to look for myself. All jokes aside, is it storm front that would be the place to look at? (VPN at the ready as I don’t want to end up on some monitoring list - more than I am now).
