Word coding is absolute nonsense.

The biggest bullshit in the galactically large industry of bullshit of politics and the media is "coded language". It's a really shitty excuse because the person didn't say what you wanted them to say to demonise them, so instead you pretend that they really DID say it but they said it in such a way that it is hidden unless you "know the code". It's Pizzagate symbol, McCarthy red scare bullshit.

Word coding means that you can assign any statement, any belief, any idea, to any person in the history of the world because instead of relying on what they actually said then you're relying on what they didn't say as proof that actually they said the thing they didn't say. It's literally making things up. I cannot see how people continuously over generations fall for this same bullshit.

The only use that the article that you posted has is to prove that even 8 years ago when Mitt Romney was running, up until the other day a darling of Democrats and the go to example of "a good/normal Republican", they were still calling Republican Presidential nominees secret racists. It has been the cornerstone of every DNC election strategy since, to my knowledge, at least 2002 and presumably before. Oh and that MSNBC was always a shit network.

Out of curiosity, were you able to vote, for whom would you vote for POTUS in 2020? And assuming it's not a current candidate, who would be your "best fit" selection? I won't respond to whatever you say -- it's just curiosity on my part; not looking for a debate.

Watched it from afar since Reagan was voted in but never felt the need to comment until now (2016 on) so perhaps I'm missing something wrt specifically the Dems using "word coding". Here's Biden talking about Black people without mentioning the demographic.


It puts a lot of people on the back foot when it comes to the young Black vote as they saw their families and friends locked away as they were brought up in the cycle of having no parents, no money and having very little choice but to sort themselves out.

There are some absolute tools on here that continue to not understand why certain people are hesitant to cast a vote for Biden as it's like bending the knee to your tomenter.

I’m hoping the AOC’s and other radicals that are now in are playing the long game. Eventually they will come through. As someone else has said in here waiting for neoliberalism to eat itself then coming through as a radical, and more crucially a safe and attractive alternative.

Third party. If forced into the two party system then holding my nose and voting Biden. If I could pick a candidate ideally then probably Sanders of all the major national candidates. If I could pick an ideal candidate and an ideal world then it would be Harris.

I said this years ago. Bernie was always the man who would landslide Trump, Biden will limp past him. Harris is an excellent candidate but she doesn't need to waste her 4/8 years in the post-Trump era and 2024/2028 would be a much better choice for her.

We've actually had this discussion in 2018, early 2019 and again in late 2019 in different formats.

I do find it odd that you'd spend your time on far right forums. Not right wing, not conservative, but what you described as "far right", neo-nazi, white supremacist, neo-fascist forums are not something anyone on the normal political spectrum would enjoy reading.

However you choose to spend your time, I guess, but most far right forums are populated exclusively by far right supporters and law enforcement monitoring them.
