As someone who didn't really follow the build up to this asking about Biden (ignoring the dementia part) does feel valid. I mean for me it feels like this entire election has been about Trump, the Republicans, and the Democrats.

So as someone genuinely out of the know, what would make a Biden a good president, and are these reasons strong enough to have made people want to vote for him ahead of anyone else? Or is it a case of he seems to not be completely nuts, represents the Democrats, and most importantly gets Trump out?

Genuine question, why does anyone think it’s a good idea that a guy ( Biden ) who is on the brink of dementia is elected president of one of the most powerful countries in the world? He 100% will not see out the 4 year term.
Even if he was currently in dementia I’d still think it was better than another four years plus of the incumbent and whoever is behind him.

You’ve pretty much got it I think.

Well the two points that he didn’t know who his rival was or what position he was running for is kind of a clue haha
Firstly, he didn't mix Trump and George Bush up. He was speaking to George Lopez at the time.

Secondly, all these people would like a word...

Trolls still gonna troll despite the reality of a "shellacking"

Really can’t believe how long this is taking. This Is what happens when you have 50 different set of rules for elections.

And an anachronistic system that means the candidate with a 4+ million vote lead is not the automatic winner after it is confirmed that it is mathematically impossible for their opponent to catch them up.

Oh, and an opposition party that intentionally created conditions (nice way of saying attempted subversion) that would slowdown and complicate vote counting (before, during, and after the election).

Biden's lead in Arizona down to just under 30,000 after the last Maricopa County vote count.

Trump gained 53% of that batch, he needs to be hitting 59% to catch up by all accounts.

You’re posting stupid 4th-grade shit among a band of people who’ve been following and posting about US politics for years here which you’d know if you’d spent three minutes reading the fucking thread — maybe you have dementia?

He has a stutter. A neurological condition of which there is no known cure- He has however been able to successfully overcome it by managing his public speaking. One of them is how he writes his speeches. He admitted that he writes them in a style akin to the "king's speech".

Some of the instances when he "forgot" something like Obama's name when he called him "my boss" he was stopping himself stuttering mid-flow by substituting a word or phrase that was easier to say. When he said he was running for senate, he was referencing when he earlier ran for the senate and the video was selectively edited. The selectively edited videos have an element of believability because the stuttering seems like he has forgot something and the longer pauses he puts in his speeches to regulate himself from speaking too quickly and bringing on the stutter.

But that is all it is- a stutter.

Fuck me. Watched a bit of fox to see what they’re saying and Hannity is foaming at the mouth with a 5 minute diatribe of pure lies followed by a segment where all the counting machines are glitched and must have turned republican votes to democrat based on a single instance in Michigan That was corrected.
This is Alex jones level shit

How are they going to continue to fleece his flock later if they don’t convince them this was all a rigged election now?
