It's time that investigation ended.

People on here think it's keeping an axe hanging over the club's head, Delaney et al use it's existence to imply guilt and some punishment coming down the line, and rival fans think it's City suppressing an investigation through corruption, it's ridiculous that it's been allowed to carry on so long.

If you can't prove wrongdoing or have any kind of revelation/update over 2 1/2 years then it's time to pack up.

Exactly. The point of the investigation is to have the investigation. This way it implies or suggests wrong doing or corruption. Therefore any success we have had or have is in someway tarnished. This is the real and true reason the investigation has not been concluded. As you say it is in to it's third year now and it is virtually certain they haven't found anything. If they had, they would have been all over it and the footballing world would know about it in no uncertain terms.
