The trouble is that the email if its the same one I got says that Android users don't have to do anything. As you rightly point out in your instructions, yes they do have to do something.

Or are we all a bit impatient and it would have updated? Three weeks away yet!
 
There are lots of people new to mobile ticketing this season after deferring or using print at home tickets last season so here is a guide to how to use it.

If you had your SC in your wallet from last season you shouldn't have to do anything as updates should have finished in the last couple of days. If yours hasn't updated or you haven't had one in your wallet previously you can go to the official site on your phone and log into your account. Go to your profile and select My Ticketing Account and then scroll down to Season Tickets. Click on Options below it and you will see your SC details. Tick the small box to the upper left and the Add To Mobile Wallet option now becomes active so click that and your SC will appear in your wallet.

Entering the stadium

Open your wallet and select your SC pass. Hold your phone about an inch or so away from the reader with the screen facing you. Have the phone with the top part facing the scanner and don't wave it about. Within a second it will be read and you can enter.

If for some reason it doesn't let you in the do the following:

Apple: click the three dots at the top right of the screen and a QR code will show. Insert that into the slot with the screen facing up and it will be read.

Google: click on Show Code and the QR code will display and do as above

Fair point and if everything moved along at the same pace it would be fine. But this thread shows that some people get full updates while others don't and that causes people who don't to think that something's wrong. Human nature. And I wonder if I hadn't gone into my account and activated the damn thing myself would it actually have updated itself. Maybe, maybe not.

Anyway roll on Bournemouth!

Thanks Pete, mine was showing as Pay this morning, but when I went into Google Play and found Google Wallet it mentioned it was downloaded and to click to upgrade. 1 min later, update done and all good. Seamless.
 
Our tickets keep alternating between silver & gold. Hope city get this sorted out as last thing I need is to be heading to the Derby in October with my Seasoncard saying silver!
 
The other things to bear in mind is that Google Pay is/has now gone and Google Wallet is the successor.

If you've got G Pay on your phone then G Wallet will have auto downloaded. Click on the Wallet App and everything will move into that as Google Pay will then disappear from your phone (it did on my Android anyway).

Also Mrs Moon's phone hasn't got NFC.....irrelevant of what the club say just putting the barcode in the slot will get you in....YOU DO NOT NEED NFC either on your phone or enabled.
 
after a load of messing about last week with City,I managed to get mine on and the lads,just got up now and google has updated itself to google wallet and the app icon as changed.
inside,my lads is there but mine as now vanished.
they really are testing my patience

mine was doing that too,when you first opened it,it flickered silver for about 20 seconds before going to gold.
now my card as vanished altogether
