2022/23 Seasoncard Automatic Update Google Pay

I know mine was an automatic renewal as I was on the direct debit scheme. Not sure if you were paying another would be automatic or not

I know I had some manual intervention to do as I downgraded from Platinum to Gold as I've got out of the habit of going to away games so no longer desperate for ticket points, but I think he made no changes from last season.
 
It may have already been answered but I have a seasoncard which is sorted. I also got a Matchday membership so that I can buy occasional tickets for visiting relatives one of whom doesn't have a phone (I know !!). Will I be able to get that person in using my phone for that ticket ? I.e. I scan their ticket on my phone, they go through and then I scan my own seasoncard ?

He has always been in the same seat. He's absolutely gutted & can't work out how it happened as the club email informed him renewals were automatic.
Is he paying by Direct Debit? Hope he gets it sorted, no need for that panic before the season even starts
 
It seems he paid for last season in one go which is where the confusion may have arisen.
That's not good as it means that the club have done absolutely nothing wrong. I pay in one go when renewals open and its then incumbent on me to make payment to secure my seat.

All he can do is throw himself on the mercy of the club and hope that they somehow find him a seat somewhere.

Just out of interest, because I’m on the DD scheme so it may be different for me, but did you get initial emails (at the end of April) about the renewals window of 6th to 20th May and if everything was the same that nothing needed doing, with seats being renewed automatically on 23rd May if nothing changed? Or did you have to pay the full amount in that window?

I got the same email as you (as in previous years).

I've always paid in one go even before I was on FOC rate as I preferred the certainty of having it done. Even when I pay I make sure I've got my confirmation email and I also check that my renewed SC is showing in my account.

I think the club should add a rider to the mail as 'you don't need to do anything' is misleading. You should check that your payment details are correct and also that it actually has been renewed whilst renewals are still open. If for some reason it hasn't happened then only realising when it's been sold to someone else is far too late.
