Thought he had a really good first half and was unlucky not to get an assist or two. He might well be lacking a bit of a match fitness but with our current injury issues I’m sure he’ll get a few more chances.

I thought he did well and should of had a few assists, not sure why there was hate for him.

If foden buries a simple header as he should he comes away with an assist. Felt like he was the most likely source of a goal. his crossing needed to be better in the main though, cant hit every cross perfectly but too many were poor.
I don't think he's ultimately good enough to be starting for us but we need a utility player or two in the squad who can come in and do a job. I see no reason why he can't fill that role. I'd start him again against forest and again at newcastle, give him a little run and see if he can deliver. Every squad player needs to be useful right now.

I thought he was a real threat in first half, He could have had himself a few assists if the players had their shooting boots on.
Second half he gave the ball away sloppy on a few occasions. I think once Doku got involved he was always going to be moved wide left with Gomez having to go off.
To be honest it's the usual bollocks on here, If we had of went in 3-0 up at HT which we should have done then there would have been nothing said about Gomez. It's the fact we went behind at HT people were looking for a scapegoat at it was always going to be Gomez.
