He is an average left winger with no right peg......and last night his main contribution was getting in Bobb's way.

Nothing wrong with his attitude though.

He is a player and person I would love to see succeed here, he has a superb attitude and also is a very good footballer, sadly I can't see him ever becoming more than a bench warmer at best, even more so when Barco signs in January.

Cant see that ever happening as long as Pep chooses not to play him regularly in his best position,which wont ever happen.....

Compared to Bobb he missed his opportunity. Ironcially i thought he looked good/better later in the game as an LB. Won some duels, suppressed counter attacks & could handle Almirons speed.

He's a talented player on the ball who gives effort but his lack of any sort of physical traits (strength, pace, etc) really stand out.

I think it’s unfair to judge players like Gomez and Phillips in a side that made 8 changes probably better to critique them when playing in a full strength side

I was thinking as soon kick off came around, a better fit would probably have been grealish central, bobb off the right & Gomez on the left

But that's outside my payroll!
