Just a little story about what a top guy he is.
A mate of mines son, was about 5/6 at the time and wouldn’t wear his City shirt for out of school uniform. His mum convinced him to. When he got to school he got jeered and booed.
Not sure how, but Fernandinho was somehow aware of this and sent an instagram video wishing him all the best and to be proud of his City kit.

The last 2 games showed that sadly, so right decision to finish here, but I hope he still enjoys his football, and gets his badges, so he can come back and do some more for us in the future.Great servant to the club, and I'm sorry to see him go, but I think it was time.

what a player he has been for us
he was dominant as a DM and even though he struggled at centre half at times, he still performed well for the vast majority of it.
The ultimate professional as well from what other pro's have said about him...never in the media for the wong reasons infact never in the media at all except the sports pages.
We will miss him

He did a lot for team bonding and morale off the field too. His house was the centre for the north west Brazilian footballer's to gather and socialise between games. Ederson has bought a neighbouring house on Ferny's road in the last few months. Ferny's influence will be missed throughout the club. He has been my favourite City player.
