I wonder if that's because of his age. 30 minutes of extra time was always possible and I wonder if Pep doubted he could do an hour at the pace of that game last night.

He has been great but time to go, physically done and his passing was truly terrible.

Can't fault the man,he will take his last breath on the pitch if he has to.....but,well out of his depth now,and its painful to watch at times.

He's provided great service so I'll be kind but I think he was the weak link in the midfield. We just couldn't get a hold of the midfield because a few times, he was not showing for the ball. Really think we lost today because we didn't have enough in the midfield and he was a factor.

Great servant but finished. Should be nowhere near a starting eleven. Passed more to Liverpool than he did to his own team.

Love the guy but yeah he’s at a stage where he can’t run games like this anymore.

That being said, 37 years old being forced to play against our biggest rivals at full strength, while we make a shitload of changes. He would have struggled with that in his prime.

He's been a great servant to the club but it's clearly time to call it a day at this level.

It makes you realise how risky it was to go in to the season with him as our only back up at defensive midfield. If Rodri had picked up an injury and been out for an extended period of time it would've completely jeopardized our whole season. Definitely a position that needs addressing in the summer.

Not sure he'll play again for us again before he leaves after today's performance

Must have been watching a different game , he was the only player driving the team forward in the second half , there were a couple who didnt turn up but Dinho wasnt one of them
