He's a bit of a beast. Very strong and quick.

He's given Pep a wonderful problem. I've never seen a club side with five centre backs as good as ours.

Not sure how to rank them.

The amount of times people mentioned Kompany at the ground after Akanji touched the ball was quite frankly frightening. Scarily good start, if Pep could engineer a centre half he'd engineer Akanji.

I agree with you but I'd rate Stones #5 just because of his injury record and even that would be scary because of how good Johnny Boulders can be!

Staggering how little we paid for Akanji considering how good and experienced a player he is. He has fitted in and suited how we play and already looks well established, talk about 'hit the ground running'. Looks like a born winner and still only 27!

Commanding. Big. Quick. Strong. Great defender!? ... Proper centre half. Looks our best centre half now and I thought he looked like peak Vinnie myself at times. Class
